About Me

Photography came late into my life. Although I’ve always had a camera and took hundreds of pictures of my kids and all types of family events, it was only after I took a course in Miksang (Opening the Good Eye) that I began to seriously look at photography. Miksang opened my eyes to the rich and vivid colour and texture of the world around us. As Miksang introduced me to the world of contemplative photography, it also stirred a curiosity to experiment in other techniques.

My interest varies from doing street scenes, night photography and studio portraits to light painting photography. I'm currently experimenting a lot on light painting techniques. Light painted photographs interests me because I can control and direct the light to create images that looks almost unreal to the way we are accustomed to seeing them.
